Wow how time Flys!

Today, Lily is 6 weeks old! I can not believe it! It is crazy how fast this has gone. Lily had surgery last Thursday to remove her extra toes. It was successful. Here are some pictures before surgery.

She is getting so big! They weighed her and she was 12 pounds!

On Fourth of July, we went to the O'Fallon Freedom Fest! It was a lot of fun! Kailyn got to ride a pony!

Here is a picture of Kailyn and Lily in their Fourth of July dresses! They looked so cute! Happy 4th!

Here are some pictures of Lily's 2nd bath! The camera wasn't handy for the 1st one.

Everyone is doing well. Kailyn is still in Cheerleading class. She really likes to be on top of the pyramids. Hopefully I can get a picture of her doing it next week. Back to work for me in 2 weeks. Not looking forward to it. It just goes way too fast! I am trying to enjoy every moment I have with Lily while she is a baby.

A Family Picnic

On Thursday we decided to go on a family picnic. Jason took us to a park he found in South County that had a farm and lakes for fishing. When we got there, we walked around the farm area and saw a mama pig who just gave birth to piglets. She was still in labor and had about 10 more to deliver. We arrived about 3-5 minutes after they were born.

After that, Jason bbq'd the hotdogs and Kailyn played on the playground while me and Lily watched. After we ate our picnic lunch, we went down to the lakes to fish. Jason bought Kailyn her very own Dora fishing rod. This was her first time fishing.

Then Kailyn caught her First Fish!

Lily was chilling in her stroller/car seat enjoying being outside.

Kailyn poked her finger on a hook trying to put a hot dog on it. This was her coming to tell me what happened.

I got a little bored. I couldn't fish because I don't have a fishing license. So I took pictures.

On Friday, Kailyn, Lily and I went to Illinois to get Lily's pictures taken and we went to the Glen Carbon Homecoming Carnival after pictures. Here is Kailyn on some rides.

I am officially a blogger

Ok, so I decided to start a blog. I promise to try and keep it up to date. This should be great for Nana and Papa who live so far away in Texas. I think I might even have a Kailyn Corner. I will have to figure that out. To everyone and anyone who reads this: Enjoy! You have now entered the Kirkton Life. I have officially declared myself a Kirkton. We have been together for 9 1/2 years and have 2 daughters, I am a Kirkton.
